Fine Arts

The fine arts program is a broad based liberal arts study, which allows students to explore a wide range of interests in the fine arts. This allows students to study works of art and artists of historical, cultural, and stylistic contexts.

Students complete six hours of advanced studio in their area of specialization in preparation for their senior exhibit and portfolio development. Students also spend time developing their awareness and understanding of the historical context of art and contemporary issues through studies in art history, while developing their own style, ultimately progressing toward a confidence and maturity in their creative expression.
