What is StoryCon?

Huntington University hosts StoryCon because everyone has a story.

For those who love to read a story, tell a story, or experience a story, StoryCon 3.0 is the place to be on February 26, 2022. Whether you prefer a novel, play, epic poem, screenplay, or graphic novel, StoryCon is all about celebrating stories and the writers who tell them.

The day’s activities will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 4:00 p.m. This year’s convention topics include

  • Creating Powerful Scenes
  • Writing and Social Justice
  • Poetry and Form Lifting
  • The Evolution of Story in Video Games

StoryCon is open to high school juniors and seniors and current Huntington University students. All activities (including lunch) are free and will take place in the upper level of Habecker Dining Commons at Huntington University.

What should I bring?

We will provide everything you need – including lunch – to fully participate in the day. Come ready to learn about storytelling and discuss your favorite stories!
